Hello everyone
As always, thanks to all those of you, who commented & voted on my previous image - Flower Explosion, much appreciated.
With regards todays upload...Last night at our camera club it was the fourth & final round of the print trophy competition, I was in the beginners section.
I entered this Butterfly & a Lily (which is in my PF) both of which got 9/10....now, had I got 10/10 for at least one of these images, I would have won the trophy, as my final score was 64 but the winners score was 64.5.
Still, never mind...I'll just have to try again next season.
Hope you like this image, large may be worth a look if you have time...
Gill

So close sweety, bearing in mind that the winner of your catergory has been taking photographs for a number of years and you only picked up a camera in May 08, then in my eyes you were the winner. Your competition entries were all superb, well done.xx

IMO excellent picture, you did better than me - full credit to ya
In humid conditions dressed for the Arctic and the hustle and bustle of people pushing past. Thats set the scene Gill. Very good focus and close full frame image giving lots of detail and retaining colour and detail in the flowers.
Great capture and congratulations on the Camera Club Competition
