One of the many bougainvillea plants growing in Kos - they are so very beautiful with their paper thin flowers and so many variations in colours too! I have added some texture to this image but have also included the original shot as V2 for those who prefer their images "fresh from the SD card"!!

Thank you for all your previous votes and comments and special thanks to flamesworddragon for the Guest Editor Award on my Cats on a Bike image.

Enjoy your weekend!

I do like the original very much, Carol, but have to admit your processing and presentation in V 1 is quite outstanding, beautifully and sensitively done, never mine artistically.
Would make a lovely greetings card.
Ronnie.

for v1 to be this good the original had to be special good processing work

Ronnie has just about summed up what I was going to say! A very beautiful original, but your work in V1 is super, and would certainly make a good greetings card Wink

So very Mediterranean, I like V1 best. The flowers are actually the insignificant white things, but each flower is surrounded by 3-6 brightly coloured, papery bracts. We have them inn the Spanish garden but as yet they are failing to thrive.

Beautiful image/work Carol

Both have merit in different ways Carol, but for photo quality I have to go with V2.
