I collect old postcards; this is one of my collection which was printed at the turn of the (20th) century, i.e. over a hundred years ago. This first version is one I have "hand" coloured using Photoshop and layers; Vs 2 and 3 are a couple of processed images with V4 being the original. I know nothing about the model, but can you understand why I treasure this postcard the most out of my whole collection? She is so beautiful and has the most uncanny resemblance to someone - can anyone else see this?

Thank you for all your continued support - now our training week is over I may be able to catch up!

Carol

I think you must be referring to Princess Diana, as you say an uncanny resemblance, and very well processed by yourself.

This is a very special set of variants. So beautifully captured and processed extremely finely in this faux three colour Victorian process.

I was sure it was Princess Diana.
The resemblance is uncanny. Perhaps it's a distant relation.
A very beautiful girl and your hand colouring is superb.

I can see why you might prize this one above others and the delicate toning in V 1 makes it my favourite, and I'm guessing your's too since it occupies the V 1 slot, Carol.

Ah the great lady of this century.

yes itsa superb bit of work...everyones guessed by now...but take a sideways slant as i do and it reminds me of the red cross advert on tv with the two dogs(bellgium shepherds like mine)but its in a more grunge context......but then again it would be 1

The resemblance is more in no,1 Carol,,I was thinking ghost like but then I was wondering if it was because of the famous ladies resemblance.
Very well worked and presented Carol,,
