It could only be Sunday! We went out to Herrington Country Park for a walk this afternoon and came across a couple of seats with "silly" things on them. I particularly liked this one, took a couple of photos and just HAD to put them on here tonight! V2 is the bigger picture (complete with the obligatory puddles and mud)!

Thanks everyone for your kind votes and comments on the York Wheel upload - Irishkate, it was originally a jpeg image!

Hope you all had a good weekend!

Carol

Nice sharp image of the shoes, Carol and with all that mud around that's the best place for them. GrinGrin

Wellies would seem to be more appropriate! What a weird and wonderful bench.

A wonderful example of the Stone Mason's Art. It certainly gives a whole new meaning to 'Sand(stone) Shoes' GrinGrinGrinGrin

Most unusual seat ends!
Works of art - I can see you doing one of your inspired pieces with those shoes.

Never seen anything quite like that seat! Unfortunately have seen pretty much the puddles and mud though! Can hear the rain clattering against the window as I type this. Do love those "sandals", even if not the best footwear these days!

A nice spotting, I thought to be a sand art at the thumbnail.

What a wonderful idea, Carol, giving a somewhat boring seat a bit of character, well spotted and captured. Carol

I thought it was one of these sand sculptures you see on the beach Carol,
from the thumbnail pic' !!
A clever idea here.
It will stop these neds from throwing the bench about !!
