Hello everyone - hope you are all well?

Today's offering is another image of one of the gorgeous Maine Coon cats I had the pleasure of meeting recently. Although I love the coloured image I thought I'd lead with the mono for a change.

Thanks for all your votes and comments - time has been in short supply and I'm afraid that I have been unable to catch up with a lot of you, so apologies for any images I have missed.

Have a good weekend,

Carol

A real beauty....I really like the color version, it shows the soft shades of its coat.

I like them both but the mono has more drama, and what cat in its right mind doesn't like drama?

I like them both - but have a slight preference for the mono. A fine portrait Carole!

As a great fan of colour I usually would give my vote to V2 but mono does work rather well here, so V1 for a change gets my click!

The mono just wins it for me as well, Carole, it lessens the background effect.

I love cats Carol and this is a beauty. I prefer the coloured version as its soft tones add to its attraction.

I too like both versions although I feel the B and W one shows off the detail and perhaps the character of the cat that bit better, Carol: but a close call.
It's a fine detailed shot, so nicely 'posed'.
Ronnie.

A charming portrait Carol and for me the mono version wins the vote.

An amazingly beautiful cat. I'm glad you put both versions up. It's lovely to see a mono but the colour is glorious too.

A hard choice today as the colour is such a beautiful soft appealing image,
but the mono packs the punch with contrasts more emphasised.

A lovely pussy portrait, Carol! Think it works equally well in both colour and mono, so has to be half a vote for each! Wink

Beautiful cat, I like both images...
I also have a long hair one (Yellow) - I Hoover all the time I'm afraid... It gets all over the place if I don't! Grin IB
