A Sunday upload with the message that one can always make time for a break and chat.
A "from the hip" shot while Dave and I enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate in York Railway Museum (see V2 for our drinks!).
I loved the animated conversation in V1 and the faces of the two people in the background of V2!
Two "noisy" shots, but I thought that the flash might draw some attention! ![]()
Thank you all so much for your enthusiastic comments on my English Rose upload and special thanks once again to Irishkate for her precious UA.

Quote: A good shot of the people and the train, but I am not too happy with the foreground of vers.1. Perhaps some, flat or low, small items, or a newspaper. on the table would improve the picture. ![]()

I agree - unfortunately all we had on the table when I grabbed this shot was two mugs of hot chocolate and a menu. The mugs obscured some of the main picture so I moved them! Maybe I should have left them!

Two fine candids, Carol...especially V2, looks very tasty! ![]()

V2 for me and it's not just the whipped cream. Good use of portrait, plus the bored curiosity of the figures in the background.
Wise not to use flash. It doesn't given you any hope of a second chance!
Moira
You went for the 'skinny' version then!! v2 gets my thumbs up.
Dave
Excellent candids. You'll be joining the paparazzi soon!
think you need to be brave..that white table is tooo distracting as a forground....would crop it out,
think if it had been an open book..or perhaps a laptop...it would provide a strong lead to the title ..but there would still be to much white in my view.....xx
