Yes, they are real, and they like ice cream!!!

Digitally manipulated image incorporating a close up of a daisy and my youngest daughter aged about 2 (approx 28 years ago!), courtesy of my dad (brilane) who took the photo of her! V2 is the coloured version, however, I really do like the sepia tones.

Thanks for the comments on my other garden visitors!

Excellent manipulation, Carol, and rather sweet - much less scary than yesterday's spider Smile
V1 for me, it's a little more nostalgic.

The colour is not my usual sort of thing but the sepia is something else, it has an Edwardian look. That's a very precise, knowing little fairy.

Quite a tiny girl, even for an age of 2, to stand on that petal! An excellent bit of digital work, Carol, really like it. Think the sepia V1 is my fave of the two.

Creativity at it's best, 10/10. Hmmm, copyright of your father :| The father the daughter and the daughter and now the grandchildren... The photography is there in your Genes and I see it clearly. Wish my child could take one of my HDRs 28 year later and do something with it and present it to an online community. EPZ recommended, if exists then...

Oj my goodness Carol, this is stunning and what a super idea. I love what you have done here with both of them. Very clever indeed. I have put picture in the center of flowers but never on the petal. A fantastic idea very well done indeed.

I like the colour version but am leaning strongly towards the sepia because it has that aged effect, a bit like the Cottingley fairies pictures. Very nicely put together by you both.

So cute! I lean towards the sepia, for exactly the same reason as Pamela and also because I have a soft spot for flowers in black and white. The colour version is lovely, too, though, and I may have to steal the idea on behalf of my little niece at some point. Smile
