In my own humble opinion, I'd have cropped this pair closer. I have fallen in love with a darling little brown and white calf who has a black mum, so can you imagine the problems I've had with those two contrasts together, 'ccos I like shots with the heads alongside. Yours looks just as cute!
We used to have many of them on the farm in my younger days...belties is what we called them...not as placid as the highlanders...nice shot detailing the markings beautifully.
