I spent a very enjoyable day yesterday in the Forest of Dean in the company of fellow epzers' gary_d and AdeOsman, we visited Cannop Ponds and Woorgreens nature reserve near Speech House, which is managed by Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and the Forestry Commission. It was hot and sunny on the day and we spent several hours walking along some of the woodland rides and around Woorgreens Lake. This is a shot of an emerald damsefly I saw in the marshy grassland around Woorgreens Lake. I will endeavour to catch up with what everyone has been up to on here as soon as I can but I won't be around that much for the rest of this week, so apologies if I don't get round to looking at your work for a while.

A beautiful capture, the details are wonderful.
I may have just cropped a little off the right hand side (to remove the small area of sky, top right) - or cloned in a little grass to cover the blue. Just a personal thing and probably only me! Smile
