A quick upload before I join up with epzers' gary_d and AdeOsman in the Forest of Dean, it is clear blue skies and the weather is set fair so it should be a good day. This is a female dark green fritillary butterfly nectaring on some knapweed at Prestbury Hill nature reserve, taken early Saturday evening on the first proper day of summer.
