A female chalkhill blue butterfly and a soldier beetle vying for position on a thistle at Bownham Common near Stroud, taken two and half weeks ago on a visit there with fellow epzer "Looloobey", Louise. I uploaded a simiilar shot of this butterfly feeding before where the soldier beetle was on top of the flower with the butterfly.
