Adam (above) makes some good points. The exposure looks fine to me, the main improvement would be in composition.
Adams comments are sufficient if you have the opportunity to get the capture again, I have held pieces of paper over my monitor screen and I think that if you cropped about 30% off the left hand side and also 30% off the bottom the image becomes more powerful.

Hello Gordon, I must say your photography is improving fast, good on you.Probably the best suggestion I can make is to take water shots on an overcast day, that way the Fuji will cope better with the water exposure. On a bright day like this I find the extremes of exposure difficult, on way you may see a difference is to take two images, one exposed for the high lights and one for the low lights.
