I am unsure what this specimen actually is so if anyone can help i would be much obliged. This shroom is about 1cm in length and at the thickest part of the stem only a few mm in diameter.
Taken on Sundays foray with D&D Club in Lincolnshire.

Superb top quality macro work. I was going to ask about the background and if you carried something to isolate the speciment, but I presume you don't because your portfolio shows quite a bit of variation.

A difficult one to I.D. as he was so very small,I have looked in ''the book' & it could be one of quite a few.
Still,you captured him well,good colour & detail.
