Hi All,
This little fellow was captured by my dear friend Pauline (Exposure) at her Villa in Cyprus. I was just about to sit down for m tea when David Pauline's husband came down to tell me that Pauline had caught a Mantis. Well, needless to say my tea would have to wait and i grabbed the camera and followed David up the garden. What a beauty this insect is and he sat there quite patient whilst i proceded to take images. He is sat on a cactus and i chose to shoot from a low angle and use the sky as the background instead of the usual green or brown foliage. Anyway let me know what you think as all comments good or indiferent are welcome.
