Bad luck for the butterfly, which I can't identify. Any advice gratefully received.

Yeah, the butterfly was wriggling and jumping all over the place, so the spider was keeping well away. We did contemplate trying to release it but the wings were too damaged. Still, the spider gets fed and should be living high off the hog for a while...
