To think, I just went out to take some photos - who knew it would escalate to this...
Still like the shot - which ever version we're looking at!
That is perseverance or something else!!! Now I am not sure about some of the leaves on the root of the tree.....!!
This is taking photo projects to the limits. Well done for trying. You can stop now.

There's another twig I don't much care for. It looks like a small antler and now I'm thinking that perhaps there's a deer under all that. I'm sure you don't want us to think that.
I'm grudgingly voting AGAIN for this but seems to me to be a cheap way to secure additional votes for essentially the same picture.
PS - Joking!! It's your best photo of a tree no more than 4 feet away to date.

Great title Could you go back and move some leaves off of the mossy bit?
