what would be the comparison criteria? the settings are different, the pose is different.... adjusting the white balance in software, I don't think it is a good idea either - unless you are comparing how lightroom applies wb on diferent photos produced by dif cameras.
I look at this photo and I'm not sure what story is it telling! On one side, we have a lot of dynamics going on; on the other side, we have a extremely static pose! The two, simply don't go along. In my opinion, a portrait should tell a story; not many stories. In my eyes, it should have been either one of two:
I think it is a good attempt - in fact, it almost got me
The way this photo looks, it really sends an amazing message accross - is kind of someone thinking but then you are portraing the thoughts flowing by at the speed of light.
