A full frame (uncropped) capture of a wild Eurasian Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris), looking very relaxed as she munched on a hazelnut. Taken last week near Aviemore, during my visit to the Highlands.

I was again overwhelmed by the response to my last upload, “Capercaillie Calling”. Many thanks to you all, with a special thank you to Pete for the HC and Terry (Terry L), Dean(WindowonWildlife), Richard(MossyOak), Adrian(tomcat), David(Craggwildlife), Roger(rogerdoger) and last, but not least Lillian (Lillian) for their User Awards. I am again well and truly blown away – very much appreciated Smile

Beautifully posed, exposed and composed.

That little fella munching away, in that soft light, is about as cute as you can get.
