He's a handsome young man. When they get old they develop a grizzled main from back of the neck, over the head and coming to a point over the forehead. Take a look here.

Most likely he is the daddy. Guess he is medium 'old'.
You got him at 168mm. You must have been very close. You missed placing details in the 'description' above. Many of us miss that little box.

He was at the Seal Sanctuary, Gweek, Cornwall. A very interesting day was spent there.

OH, Lucky you Terry. They tend to be a little more distant here at Union Bay, south of Courtenay, where I live. Vancouver Island..BC Canada. Looking closely, you do have a fine photo in 'Daddy'.
