The Lock Up, converted in 1819 using the stone from the 15th century Buttercross at the same location in Deeping St James, Lincolnshire. Used for overnight accommodation for arrested felons before being brought before magistrates the following morning. Given Listed Building Status in 1968 but cleaned and renovated in recent years at a cost of £20,000.
