Had a day to myself today - captured these 6 visitors in my trees whilst having a few "Fosters" to wash the dust down.

#1 An Oz "Pee Wee" official name "Magpie Lark" - a smaller and less aggressive bird than our fully fledged "Magpie".

#2 An Oz "Figbird".

#3 An Oz "Silvereye collecting nesting materials

#4 An "Australian Butcherbird".

#5 A larrikin "Galah"

#6 A common Sparrow.

A fine set of beautiful bird shots...
Lovely images and my favorites: V5 for the colour and the light, V4 for the rusty perch and the sharp focus on the bird. IB

A splendid selection of Australian birds Bill, v1, v2 and v5 are all terrific. I hope the Fosters you get in Oz are better than the watered down rubbish we get over here!
