A break from Airshow images, for a while at least.

I took a detour on my way home from work last night to capture the sunset over Coniston and it was a pretty good one with some nice colour in the sky. This is taken from the jetty at Brantwood looking down the water towards Coniston village. I had the tripod as high as it would go in an attempt to prevent the jetty posts from merging with the shadow of the hills but couldn't quite manage it. I'm pretty happy with the result though.

Thanks for taking a look and have a good weekend.

Darren.

Spot on Darren, I also saw the Sunset developing last night and would have been at Ravenglass if the missus hadn't been out with the motor. Sad They just don't understand. Wink

But it's my turn with the car tonight. Smile

You must have been chuffed with this stunning result Darren...it's simply breathtakingly beautiful, the reflections are so clear and the intense red of the sunset brings it alive! You could always clone in the reflections as if you HAD cleared the top of the posts? Just a thought!!
Cheers...Leo
