Spell in Army,worked for a national airline in a photographic dept:Went on to a London Evening Newspaper in the early '60's,up to 5 pictures a day being published.
Moved onto being a Glamour photographer,spent 30-years with a leading mag company as chief photographer.Countless Covers & page spreads.
Started with an old plate camera,moved to a Speed Graphic,Hasselblads,Rollei's,Nikons & Canons.Returned to the Graphics (Roll film backs)Awesome quality via the computer.
No regrets;Photographed the greats,Sir Winston Churchill,Marilyn Monroe,Bob Hope,Jane Russell,Joan Collins and many,many more.
But today-rather photograph steam trains.(More peaceful,or perhaps,because my Father once worked for the GWR).
