The late British born actress MARGO MAYNE poses on London's Hampstead Heath.
Using my old favourite trick,Synchro Sunlight, hand held flash just above the 6x6 camera, adds the perfect light to a most charming face.I usually done these pictures around two in the afternoon when the sun was slightly setting, rather than directly overhead.

Margo (1938-2004) had originally trained to be an ice skater, and starred in many ice shows, before becoming an actress.

Born in Peckham,South London, after a spell in GB,she moved on to Australia. She was best known for her role in 'The Prisoner:Cell Block H'around 1979.

Her last acting role was in 2003.She died in London with Cancer.

Great face...Lovely lady.

Interesting you say that,John.
A secondhand Rollei these day's has all of a sudden shot through the roof.Once you could pick these up for a few hundred, now we are talking more in the region of 700-800 pounds.Even the Rolleicord V & VB can fetch 300-400+ pounds.

The Rolleo 3.5E that I shot all these pics with I sold-then I bought the Rollei T,then sold that to a Nightclub Photographer in the 90s,but still retained the 'flagship' model of the defunct company, the 3.5F with the Planar lens.Plus the Rolleicord VB.

Sheer quality for mechanics and brill lenses.Ideal for portraits to compose on the ground glass screen.

Regards.
H.
