I wanted a figure to walk through the picture giving a sense of loneliness and solitude. The person in the shot is myself as their was no one around at the time.

i think the lonelyness would have been stronger without a person in the picture. i like the way the line goes and the trees giving a magic feeling to it.

I love the shot of the snow in this tree lined walk way, but I think it would work so much better with the figure further away from the camera , it would add more of the sense of solitude, and mystery

A well composed image with excellent range of tones and contrast, but like Linda, I feel the image would have had more impact had you allowed the walker to move a bit further along the lane.
