Something a bit different today, I had about 3 hours to wait while my car had a service and it's first MOT, I knew that the garage was right next to a large lake so I took my camera equipment with me and shot some gulls etc.
This is a Black-headed Gull in it's Winter colours.

Nice shot. I think it is better if the background have a cleaner based rather than the rippled or the waved there. Then the detailed of the bird will be more of contrast to the background. Get a vote from me though. Click
