I bet this boat could tell some stories and I prefer V2.

Trev's got talent hiding his light under a bushel, I like both which are very well done in each case, just gave my award or you would have got it!, still i'm impressed Trev, hope you do well regards Leon.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

The 'scrunched/torn' effect emphasises the dilapidation so well. v1 for me, Trev.

I'm in the love it camp.
I like the way you mix several textures to achieve your goal.
I think this is a very therapeutic way of spending time.
the boat looks amazing.
So tell us which images you've been winning with at club.

Thanks everyone, Kate put in four, two prints and two projected, scored three 19s and one 17 out of twenty, what Geoff is on about is the Club Photographer of the Year goes on the accumulated points for all 8 competitions.

Regards

Trev.

I am not that keen on over-processing, Trev, so it's definitely the original for me which is a delightful shot of the decrepit old vessel, the detail, textures and colours so well captured.
The low viewpoint also enhances the effect.
Ronnie.

I like both in their own right, and best of luck in your club competition.
Regards, Alf.

like how you have presented this Trevor V1 suits the delapidated state of the original V1 for me good bit of work and can only be done when using a good initial image!! well done in the competitions

Funny reading all the comments at first I was straight for V2 as did not at first thing V1 was my sort of thing. As you look at V1 I think it does add value and bring out more how old the boat is. For me although V2 is my thing I actual like V1 more. Funny how you have just made me look at things differently.. Well done Trev.. SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Love this and whatever other work you have done to it. It's wonderful! Grin

As my dear old dad used to say, never buy a boat thats covered by thick new paint, thick new varnish, or the high tide.... Wink

Nicely done Trevor.
