All these people! why do they want me to yawn?
Another from the WHF in Kent, so many beautiful Big Cat's there, spoilt for choices on which to photograph...

Thank you all for the great comments and clicks on my Tiger shot.

Today a set and the last is a 'grab shot' at end of the day where this man was being licked and purred to with the lions....so brave! and trusting! Just look and judge for yourself.... Trust...wonderful word/meaning!

Enjoy your weekend

wonderful images, there is trust and it's mutual, it seems, though I can't help feeling that there is a good deal of risk involved!

As images it is V1 and V2 for me, but the remaining images are fascinating to see. Extraordinary seeing man and beasts together like that.

When I looked at V1 Lillian I was about to say I hope you were stood well back- but then I looked at V4 and half expected to see you stroking the beast!!! Incredible. I have heard of such things but never seen it quite like that.

I have to say at this point, that the chap was inside a fenced off part and not in the cage...also the lions had been bought up with him on the scene..and he has recently become aquainted with them again! a very knowledgable man where these two were concerned...He like the lions is a very 'gentle person'
Thank you for all the concern for him and my comments today..appreciated

V1 is so brilliant, but there is something about 3 & 4 for me, the chap is so at ease with them and you can see how much he loves them - well done for capturing that moment. Ann

Fantastic set Lillian as always, but do have to say I enjoyed the versions 3 and 4 simply because of the closeness with the human beings these shots portray. I wish we could all do things like this. I think it is so sad the distance between humans and animals.

Lynne has this theory that German Shepherds have tongues six inches (15cm) too long for their gobs. I see the theory applies to lions too!
