Hi, thanks for stopping by. My name is Greg and I grew up on the east coast of the US, but now call London home after living here for a number of years.
I have always enjoyed photography but unfortunately my interest manages to exceed my ability!! Years ago I started taking pictures with a Nikkormat and a 50/1.4 lens (full frame with fast glass in today’s parlance) but really had no idea how to do much more than point and shoot. Even tried a bit of black and white developing which I think was about as time consuming as trying to learn pp in Elements is today.
Anyway the photography bug has bitten again and I am now enjoying having a bit of time to spend with the hobby. My objective is to try to develop my “vision” as the most difficult aspect for me is to actually “see” what I think will be a good picture and then to make it come out of the camera as I envisioned it.
I have enjoyed this website as there is so much terrific talent on display and part of the learning process for me is to be challenged by some of the work which appears here and hopefully learn from it.
I also appreciate the comments you have left on my pictures and having a bit of a thick skin please don’t hesitate to critique as that feedback is a real benefit to me.
