A coal tit with a nut

Love this shot, I put a load of nuts out for some red squirrels and was amazed that these little coal tits would take these nuts with such ease.

Crested Tit

Thank you M-Squared I couldn`t believe my luck when this crested tit landed on the stump I had put nuts on for the Red squirrels, I had hoped for an opportunity to photograph Crested Tits but wasn`t sure I`d be lucky.

Rev2 Yes they just look so different and ouse character.

Thanks to everyone for their votes.

Fish and Shake by grinningsoul2011

Fish and Shake

Thanks Phil for taking the time to comment.

It has taken three visits and a lot of time spent waiting for this shot - what a great way to spend timeSmileSmile

Feedback from the Keepers and other photographers is to go first thing to see him as soon as the park opens, they hide his food and so when they let him out he spends time walking and searching for it. They have also started putting food out on the island which is great because it encourages him to swim helping to keep him fit.

Later in the day from about 1600 onwards seems to be a good time to see him as they put more food out for him so again he is active. Good look for your next trip to YWPSmile
