A very wet stay in the Nelson Lakes area put pay to any dramatic light, although we did get snow fall on the peaks which is VERY rare for summer!
Fortunately the subject matter and that classic viewpoint meant that the photographic rewards were worth the drenching I got!

Superb image, reminds me of similar shots taken in the Lake District, Cumbria, UK. A superb landscape shot that wouldn't look out of place on a professional calendar.
