Quite an old shot this but I though it captures the essence of the current weather front above my head!
The rocks near the breaking wave are some 40ft+ tall. Capturing a sense of scale of the size of the breaking waves is next to impossible.

Really like the breaking wave, good to see one that isn't taken on such a fast shutter speed that it 'freezes' the action. I like the colours/tones very much especially the sea. Sylv.
Dan, I've lost track of the number of times I've been down to this stretch of coast and I've yet to come away with anything worthwhile. This image is inspiring me to give it another go this coming winter!

Mike - A pleasure mate. It's particularly inspiring to me as it was taken during rehab of my ankle. Where the other local tog's were enjoying the South Coast I was on crutches - this was my (very slow) first outing after the break!
