First of all, yes, the sky really was that colour! This was taken late evening in Whistable a couple of weeks ago. I'd really taken the camera for shots of the oyster festival parade, and, to keep the bag light i'd only taken my 50mm prime lens! No tripod, no filters and then this sunset occurred whilst i was sitting in a restaurant! Obviously i rushed and made as good a shot i could, the first three had beer festival-goers stumbling through. The one real adjustment i have made is to move the pole (what is that, anyone?) from centre to the left side as I feel it adds scale but centrally it was distracting, oh, and I've obviously cropped it.

Well, yes, you just had to do something with that sky, and I like what you did. I don't generally like images where things have been moved around in Photoshop (the word, I'm afraid, is falsification) but this is an exception. So it gets a vote.
