Well captured, Trev,
Totally agree, spend the money and vaccinate the cattle I say.
I don't mind 2 pence on a burger or whatever.

I gather they bother the cows?

THe placement of the subject in the canvas is interesting and very effective considering what he is doing!

A lovely badger shot Trev, Yeah, I hope they try vaccinating first, it would be terrible if they killed all the badgers and later found out it was something else causing TB.

I thought you could only see badgers later in the day.
It looks quite light here.
Well photographed and always wondered is that just dew
in the bottom right corner.
I often see this hazy dew over grass and wondered about it.

What a beautiful animal Trev.
They can be distructive though at my sister told us that the set near them has dug up the newly
laid lawn. The hard work that was put in all gone to waste.
We don't get them here so it is nice to see such a lovely capture….

Totally agree there is no proven link and their numbers are reduced with car strikes (sadly) round our way. Back the badger. Compared with other countries (france) we are only playing with agriculture anyway. paul

I wholeheartedly agree with your sentiments Trev, the money would be far better spent on vaccinating the badgers and/or the cattle if resources allow. Culling them will probably only make the problem worse as any surviving badgers would move further afield away from their existing territories and only exacerbate the situation if they are indeed carriers of the virus, as they'd spread the disease to unaffected areas.
