Lovely shot, Lin.

Sad to see the end of 'summer' with your lovely imagesof butterflies.
However that means autumn is coming with golden opportunities.

Leave the dead flowers on the bush, the seeds GrinGrin provide food for the birds over the winter, then cut your buddleia down to the ground next spring and watch it grow.........

An extremely impressive macro-photograph, which you have captured the gorgeous colours and detail of this rather handsome looking Butterfly dining out on the last of Buddelia, so very well indeed.

Make hay whilst the sun shines, as they say. Lovely colourful image, and a few days worth of flowering left by the look of it. Our buddleias finished a couple of weeks ago, not that it mattered as I think we only attracted a couple of 'whites;' anyway.
