This was taken last saturday on Mam Tor. I hadn't planned on going there, but was passing through on my way to Edale to see a friend off at the start of a race. So quickly headed up and waited a short while for the sun to rise and the warm light to catch the ridge and Kinder Scout beyond, and it was anything but warm up there. Smile

My 1st upload of 2012, so thanks for stopping by. All comments welcome.

Lovely touches of light, well worth the early diversion. It wasn't like that yesterday......on a walk with a friend from Hope to the great ridge....to Castleton and back to Hope....it rained every second! Sad

Cheers folks, appreciate your time. Martin, I think you've definitely seen better days in the Peaks, this coming weekend sounds like it might be similar.

Lovely light on the frosty foreground. Even makes up for the lack of clouds!
