Spotted this flower (Poppy?) whilst trekking in the Kulu valley (Indian Himalaya) This image really doesn't do the colour justice. It is such a striking blue! Hope you like? Russ... :o)

Hi Russell,
I missed this shot previously - I'm sure it is Meconopsis -the blue Himalayan Poppy. It is a lovely crisp shot, and how well it stands out against its stoney b/g.

Excellent composition, a beautiful Poppy, like the extra touch of blue in the sky to balance the image.
