Description

This image was taken whilst Trekking in Spiti in the Indian Himalaya, and is the residence of the Dalai Lama during his stay in the region. I was not lucky enough to see him on this occasion... But, maybe next time! :o)

So nice to see shots from a completely different part of the world from one's own and this one could not be further from mine. Mountainous areas and landscapes from them have always fascinated me, and this shot is no exception. It is a very well balanced image, packed with detail and showing the nature of the terrain so well. Excellent work.
