Thought I would post this shot of Ki Monastery in its grand landscape. I think it gives a better idea of where it is situated within the landscape than my other posts. This is such a broad sweep of mountainside that I HAD to view 'large' to pick out the details. It's an amazing terrain and looks so barren with no greenery except on the valley floor. The monks who live there at these altitudes must be a very hardy race. You have captured the nature of the land so well in this panoramic shot, Russell.
Thanks Ronnie... ;o) I know most of the detail is very small, but I think it shows off the scale of this fantastic landscape.... And yes, the monk's are very hardy.... but, some of the most friendly people it has been my privilege to meet... It is such a stunning country!!
