I love V3, and they are all wonderful captures of a terrific work of art....who would think it, a floating mosaic ball.

Where We Once Ran and Played. by f4fwildcat

Where We Once Ran and Played.

They both look like ghost rides, in an amusement park long gone. A very poignant photo.

As a kid, I used to go to Palisades Amusement Park. Loved it.

Yacht Choice by tonyguitar

Yacht Choice

Ah yes, the honey dipper. A boat like this will use a lot of fuel. At the end of a three day sailing cruise, while gassing up (we took about 4 gallons of diesel fuel) we had noticed a number of "cigarette boats" out on the Chesapeake. We asked how much they held...answer, two 250 gallon tanks, and them burn a gallon minute! It was easy to feel virtuous.

Japanese God. by WesternRed

Japanese God.

Why Red, this looks much like some of your photos. And, indeed, a scary god. Sometimes I think than many gods is a better idea than one. Less to argue about.

Great capture, Herman. What is a coastal fynbos? Terminology of which I am totally unfamiliar. A very attractive little bird.

Look of Love by kathrynlouise

Look of Love

Kathryn, I have been in awe of your photos of "your" tigers for a long time. Your deeply personal and vulnerable comments here are very moving. And, hour love of these majestic animals. Tigers are so remarkable...... Intelligent, fierce, it must be said, among the few man-eating animals on earth. In the wild, they have been known to "keep score" of humans who have mistreated them. And they are so beautiful.
