We had a quick look inside this cathedral. It is a huge place but made out of simple materials.
The face of Christ, V2, is made from other peoples thumbnail photos, most interesting.
V3 is the main alter standing high in the centre of its sanctum.
Thanks for looking in on yesterdays ‘birdies’ even though they were blurred.
Have a great day….

Jocelia

Wow! Who would have guessed plain colour panes could result is such powerful rich design. All images perfectly exposed
and composed. Super photo work! Especially V2. TG

I am not normally keen on modern architecture being used in Cathedrals, but I do like the modern stain glass windows in V1...a great set

More modern cathedrals are so full of light and colour, just as they should be, and very well shown here as well, Jocelia.

I love that window in V1 and the very modern ideas in V3
but congratulations to the artist who conceived the idea for the face of Jesus
and produced the finished masterpiece.
Religious or not you must appreciate the beauty in all three images.

So very interesting and such a wonderful example of how modern materials and building methods can still produce this beautiful place of worship....

I love the image of Christ crafted from a range of other peoples photographs...
