My Aunt Hope, about a mile away, my father's baby sister, is a wonderful gardener. She has a rhododendron that is blooming pretty early. V1 is a tight crop, to give essence of pink. V2 is the full photo.
Beautiful, what brilliant colour.
Beautifully captured colour and beauty.
Lovely blooms - still waiting here.
No way here for Rhododendrons this early, beautiful anyway
Superb close up,beautiful colours.
Great colour and 2 great captures Peter, V1 a great frame filler
V1 certainly goes in close Peter but I do like the full bloom of V2.
Think I need Aunt Hope here. She seems to have a magic touch. This is beautiful Peter.
Looks like one I have and it is a lovely one Peter. Like both versions.
Lovely shots - wonderful colour. V1 my favourite.
Nice pastels colours Peter.
A beautiful capture Peter. Gorgeous colour. V1 for me
I remember enormous rhodedendron bushes at the house I lived in until I was 8: it's now a care home instead of a Rectory, and there are houses where the bushes were.
In Wales, they're now regarded as weeds, running rampant through oak woodland.
But they are beautiful...
Two lovely coloured flowers there Peter
Very nice subject and colours,
Good lighting, natural background, well seen and well photographed...
