I was driving a while back in Bucks County, north of Philadelphia when I saw this rather large and rather remarkable image. V2 puts it in a bit of context.

Just returned from a winter weekend in the Berkshires, with many photos to edit and play with. In the meantime, I have some "random" images I have been waiting to show, over the next few days.

A truly incredible piece of sculpture.
I guess horses must be popular in this part of the world?
Super image, Peter, well done for showing it.

if they are identical and not the same artist .Colleen, then someone has a problem. As it is a casting, i. Would guess the same artist.

Bit of a coincidence if Colleen's seen the same in London. Why's this one beside a casino? Peter.

Two great images Peter, however I might have been tempted to remove the offending surrounding in Photoshop or any other manipulation software that you have available.

"Horse is a noble animal" --as it is from "A Horses Mouth", In medicine"Horse is a higher animal" to produce vaccines (Tetanus antitoxins). But can't tolerate a beheaded horse (God Father)--
Yet , A fantastic work,so is the presentation.

I'd looked it up on Google Earth before I saw Colleen's comment: have a look! It's at Hyde Park Corner, on the little linking road called Tyburn Way, that only buses are allowed along. Certainly a remarkable similarity, to say the least!

A completely different artwork, but with a certain common idea is at Salford Quays - see this - very disconcerting as you round the corner and find it.

Beautiful! It must be the same sculptor as the one in Marble Arch London. Go check it out next time you visit. Lovely shot. IB

I did, of course, mean Marble Arch. Sorry... But travelling in London, if you're a provincial, does that to your brain...

Most people would think of The Godfather when they see a horse's head Grin
