Flying low over Vancouver Island, this scene almost becomes abstracted....a landscape with people on the beach appearing as spots. A landscape that takes careful viewing.

Given your affinity to tree huggers, I do hope the flight was really necessary, you shouldn't be spending carbon emissions now Smile lol

I really can't see how you could change this composition to make for good viewability, but it is an excellent reproduction of the beach area. I make the comment because you seem to have three focal points, but to me none is sufficiently strong to be able to stand alone. The small inlets between the sand seem to split the picture into stripes but there is at least one saving grace to that, the lines are diagonal.

EXIF wise I am not sure how much vibration you experienced in your plane, but the shutter speed does appear to be OK. However, certainly I would be using a higher ISO so that I could use a smaller aperture; the shutter speed is ideal for the FL of the lens in use but f6.3 won't give you a decent DoF.

Very interesting, but I would go further. A strip off the top and all the green off the bottom. The figures are OK, but a single figure would be even better. The solitude would really show.
