Primroses love cool weather, bolting as soon as it gets hot. The plants start coming up in January, blooms in March. We had some snow this morning, did not stick, then this afternoon, more snow, bigger flakes, followed by freezing rain. I went out and photographed the primrose, the unhappy crocuses, and daffodils. More in the next days of the latter flowers. Here are also some alternate photos of primroses, and maybe a ringer of crocus and daffodil.
