This was shot some years ago in Thailand in a Meo (Hmong) village, shooting in the dim light inside a village house. I had seconds for this shot, and I have felt that this captured this young woman.

This was scanned from film.

This is a very nice shot. Its lost some sharpness in the journey from analogue, and thats really all it needs, as in the mod. Sharpening brought out some dust spots which I removed.

I uploaded a mod of your beach chair shot also you might like.

Regards

Willie

Nice other than the slight softness. You have managed a good scan and controlled contrast well, but most scanned images will need some sharpening, especially from 35 mm. Ifind medium format and 5x4 scan well with minimal after sharpening, but rarely, if ever, get away with 35 mm. Would like them both looking in the same direction.

A pleasant enough scenario but I tend to prefer eye contact. The journey from analogue has been discussed so I will leave that out,
