Around 12,000 feet up, in Pisac, I saw these Quechua (descendants of the Incas) men carrying thatch. From the looks of them, heavier than it looks----and working at high altitude, even if they live there.

I suppose thatch grass only grow at a much lower altitude ! Poor guys - but then hard work never hurt anyone my late grandfather used to say Smile Excellent photo Peter !
