Maple Leaves and in V2, another.

Going up to Northern New Jersey to spend a few days with my 90 year old mother, who spends now much of her time writing poetry.

Maples do have really rich reds, if you catch them just at the right time, on a day widen what I had with me was my little Canon Powershot S-100. It is small, and can be with me when I do not want my OM-D with me, like when I am riding my bike.

Two wonderful images Peter, love the deep red colour in V1. How wonderful that your Mom is 90 and still able to write poetry....enjoy your time with her

Both are strong images, Peter, although I may have been tempted to remove the background in V1, because I find it very slightly distracting.
The colour in V1 is 'nature's best', sumptiously rich. It would make a beautiful wall hanging.
V2's reds, oranges and yellows are fabulous and I like the curving lines of the branches.
I hope you had a wonderful day with your Mum - and that you have many more of them.

Both images are such good compositions! V1 had the edge because of the passionate red on display! Grin
