Taken between the bricks in my backyard. I did not see the ants in the dandelion flower until I looked at the photo.

Thank you all for your supportive comments and votes while I ran my series of photos from Peru over the last few weeks. It was a lot of fun for me to be able to show these. For the next few days, I will show some flowers from my yard, and maybe a few more unusual photos from the building in which is my furniture studio.

The first thing I noticed were the ants harvesting food !! An excellent photo Peter !! At least one flower / weed we have in common Smile

I love this picture , lovely wee flower but its the nature reclaiming itself side too this i love. Reminds me of a Jethro Tull song (Jack in the green) line GrinGrin

I realized that the original photo that I put up seemed a little dull, so I took it down, and brightened it up a bit. Thanks for all support for my Peru series. At some point soon, I will start a series of photos from the trio my wife and I made to Tunisia on our honeymoon in 2005.

I had no idea there were so many stamens in a dandelion (assuming that's what the curly things are Smile)

And the ants seem to be playing ostrich - looks as though they think you can't see them because they can't see you Smile
