I took this photo less than a minute after the one I uploaded yesterday.....the other side of the small bridge. This is the tidal pond from which the rapid stream was draining. Clearly getting closer to sunset, but knowing that this was the last of the mist, rain and fog, I kept going about until it was too dark to shoot, and I did not want to miss dinner (which I was to help cook) back at our friends'. I have more or the mist shots at least for another week. And for those of you who wonder, Maine does get plenty of sunshine.....just not as hot (usually, though this climate changed world throws curves [a baseball allusion]).
I had hoped to stir up a little controversy yesterday as to the practice of long exposures of water. Thank you all for your responses....varied as they were.
